Cadet Camp is for our young and curious explorer's, where it's all about getting outdoors and having fun, stretching ourselves through exploration and discovery!
We aim to help our campers develop essential soft skills through healthy and positive social interactions with their camp-mates and friends.
Our junior camp is filled with rumbles of laughter & friendship, an encouraging and supportive space where kids can run, laugh and play together!

You'll probably hear Coach Pippa before you see her! Her infectious happy-go-lucky exuberance sets the perfect pitch for fun-filled camp adventures!
She'll be your loudest cheerleader and fun-loving guide, Coach Pippa's approach creates a supportive and encouraging environment where kids feel empowered to explore, create and thrive together!
Her ability to switch from fun & playful to firmly and gently settling a group of excited kids - creates a foundation of trust and guidance on which to connect with all her campers!

FAQs
- As kiddos are participating in outdoor activities, make sure your child wears covered shoes and brings clothes suitable for the weather
- Don't forget their trusty water bottle! There are also plenty of water fountains around the park to keep them hydrated and re-filled throughout the day
- A cool swim-suit and a change of clothes will come in handy. Although swimming in the ocean isn't allowed, they can have a blast splashing around in the shallows (fully supervised, of course!)
- Just in case of rain, it's a good idea to pack a raincoat or have an umbrella handy
- Lunch and snacks are a must to keep those energy levels up!
- To beat the heat, make sure they bring a hat for sun protection
- Mosquito repellent will help keep those pesky bugs at bay
- Lastly, don't forget to apply and pack sunscreen to keep their skin safe from the sun's rays
These essentials will ensure your child is all set for a fun-filled camp experience at East Coast Park!
In the event of rain, we've got you covered! :)
A large covered shelter and many other covered areas strategically located throughout East Coast Park serve as our base-camps during wet weather.
Additionally, we have an exciting lineup of indoor games and activities ready to keep the fun going, ensuring that every camper remains engaged and entertained even if the raindrops do fall!
At our camp, we prioritize the safety and individual attention given to each young camper - and to maintain a high standard of care for our kiddos we maintain a camper-to-counsellor ratio of 1 : 6
This ratio allows us to provide a safe and engaging environment where our dedicated counsellors can devote ample time and attention to each child, ensuring their well-being and fostering a fun & positive camp experience.
Meals are not provided during the camp. We encourage our little campers to bring their own lunch and snacks each day to ensure they have their preferred choices and accommodate any dietary restrictions or allergies.
This allows parents to pack meals that best suit their child's needs and preferences.
Our focus is on creating a safe and inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy their meals comfortably.
We provide designated areas for campers to enjoy their packed lunches and snacks, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and social interaction during meal times.
We're excited to let you know that we're currently exploring transportation options for our campers!
While we don't have transportation services available just yet, we're actively working on making it happen in the near future.
We understand the convenience it provides for our families, and we appreciate your patience and support as we strive to enhance our camp experience.
Stay tuned for updates on transportation arrangements - we're determined to make your camp journey as smooth and hassle-free as possible!
We totally get that parents are eager to see what's happening at camp!
You're absolutely welcome to visit and observe the activities.
We do suggest that you also think about giving your children the chance to fully immerse themselves in the camp experience and discover their independence and confidence in Rockit's safe and encouraging environment.
Our program is all about helping kids grow, gain confidence and independence, and discover their own power.
Rest assured, our experienced and caring coaches are committed to ensuring the well-being and happiness of every camper throughout their journey with us!

Cancellation 3 days or more before the commencement of camp:
You'll receive a full refund, or (at your request) a voucher [credit note] to use at another date.

Due to camp logistics, your enrolment will not be eligible for Transfer or Cancellation. Cancellations can be made at your own discretion with NO Credit Notes and NO Refunds.
This is due to the logistical preparations we make in advance, such as planning activities, procuring personalised t-shirts, and securing qualified coaches. Furthermore, last-minute cancellations may prevent other children from being able to participate, as limited spots are available. We greatly appreciate your cooperation and support as we strive to deliver the best possible camp experience for all involved.

In addition to the proactive approach we take toward the health and safety of our campers, we have a caring, qualified (first-aid certified) "Camp-Nurse" available to tend to the needs of your child while away from home.
